The Council has also published an introduction to the National Third Party Access Regime and the role and responsibilites of the Council which is available for download below.
The Council is updating its guides to reflect recent legislative changes and other developments, in particular those resulting from the passage of the Trade Practices Amendment (Infrastructure Access) Act 2010 and the Competition Tribunal's decisions in relation to the declaration of various Pilbara iron ore railways.
The updated Guide to Certification is now available. The Coucil is currently updating the Guide to Declaration.
Until the updated Guide to Declaration is completed there is a heightened risk that some parts of the guide may not reflect recent amendments or represent the Council's current approach to particular issues.
